The U.S. Navy’s USS George H.W. Bush is operating in the Arabian Sea as preparations continue for the replacement of the USS Abraham Lincoln.

The Lincoln has been deployed for more than 250 days supporting U.S. operations in the Middle East.

The planned rotation comes amid concerns over the strain of prolonged deployments.

The USS George H.W. Bush is expected to take over duties as the Navy adjusts its carrier presence in the region and maintains operational readiness.
