Iran Accuses US & Israel of Starting War on Completely False Pretenses – “We Have Proof It Was All Lies!” Tehran Swears to Fight to the Death!
In a fiery new statement that has electrified supporters and sent ripples across the war-torn region, Iran has launched a blistering accusation against the United States and Israel, claiming the entire conflict was launched on fabricated intelligence and deliberate lies.
Iranian officials and state media declared that Washington and Tel Aviv invented an “imaginary Iranian threat” to justify their surprise airstrikes that began on February 28, killing Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and triggering the deadliest escalation in decades. “We have irrefutable proof that this war was built on complete falsehoods,” a senior Revolutionary Guard Corps spokesman said. “The so-called nuclear danger, the alleged plots — all lies manufactured to mask a long-planned regime-change operation.”
The accusation echoes earlier Russian statements that the US used negotiations as cover for aggression. Tehran now insists the strikes were never about self-defense or preemption but a coordinated plot to topple the Islamic Republic. “They attacked us based on fake information,” the statement continued. “This is naked aggression dressed up as prevention.”
In response, Iran has issued its strongest vow yet: “We will never back down. We will fight to the death.” With the Strait of Hormuz still disrupted, missiles flying, and Mojtaba Khamenei — the new Supreme Leader — reportedly recovering from injuries sustained in the initial attack, Iranian hardliners are framing the war as an existential battle against fabricated pretexts.
President Masoud Pezeshkian’s government has mobilized public rallies under the slogan “Truth Over Lies,” while IRGC commanders promise devastating retaliation. Social media inside Iran is flooded with claims of “declassified evidence” showing manipulated intelligence reports, though independent verification remains impossible amid the fog of war.
Western officials have dismissed the accusations as propaganda designed to rally domestic support and shift blame. US and Israeli sources maintain the strikes were necessary to neutralize imminent threats. Yet the Iranian narrative is gaining traction in parts of the Global South and among anti-war voices, further polarizing an already fractured international community.
As the Israel-Iran phase of the conflict intensifies and US forces reportedly begin repositioning, Tehran’s defiant message is clear: this war, they insist, was started on lies — and Iran will not stop fighting until justice is served.
