BREAKING: Trump privately promises blanket pardons to every staffer who’s ever set foot near the Oval Office — and the White House isn’t even denying it.

“I’ll pardon everyone who has come within 200 feet of the Oval.”

That is not a legal strategy. That is a confession.

Think about what this actually means. A sitting president is pre-emptively dangling pardons over his own staff — not because they’ve been wrongly accused of anything — but because he knows what they’ve been doing. He knows investigations are coming. And he’s already building the escape hatch.

There’s a word for what this is. It’s called obstruction. It’s called a criminal conspiracy. And legal experts will tell you: pardons issued as part of a scheme to cover up crimes aren’t worth the paper they’re printed on.

Steve Bannon went to prison. Peter Navarro went to prison. Trump promised them protection too.

He is not a president running a government. He is a mob boss running a protection racket out of the Oval Office.

And he’s not even hiding it anymore.
