Trump said the goal was total enforcement. It’s going to be all or none, and that’s the way it is.
He also declared online that he “instructed our Navy to seek and interdict every vessel in International Waters that has paid a toll to Iran. No one who pays an illegal toll will have safe passage on the high seas.”
Iran responded immediately. Officials said the strait remains under their full control and warned military ships would face a forceful response.
Iran’s response was blunt.
