Prince Harry and Meghan Markle set to leave the UK months after Cotswolds move
The Duchess of Sussex is reportedly set to appear as a judge on the Australian version of Junior Masterchef next year.
A source close to the production has reportedly confirmed that the Duchess will appear on the highly anticipated upcoming season, slated for release in 2027.
This will require her to be away from Britain for “weeks”, and it is speculated that Harry will take children Archie and Lilibet to Melbourne to accompany Meghan.
Journalist Lauren Tomasi told Australia’s breakfast news show, Today: “It’s not going to be any short period of time either. This is going to be a weeks-long stint which I think begs the question: Are Harry and the kids going to come too?
“I would hazard a guess at maybe, yes. They have become quite the globe trotting family. They have moved from the US to the UK, they love a bit of a trip.
“I think all four should head down under to Melbourne. That will be for the 2027 season of Junior Masterchef.”
Previously, Meghan appeared as a guest judge on the main Masterchef Australia programme when she and Harry went on an Antipodean tour in April.
Meghan made her name playing Rachel Zane in the TV drama Suits, leaving the show after more than 100 episodes to focus on Royal duties after her engagement to Harry was confirmed.
Should reports of Meghan’s involvement with Masterchef prove to be accurate, it would be her first confirmed television work since the Sussexes returned to the UK in late August.
