“I want to give you the good news,” Netanyahu said. “It’s only a matter of time that in Iran something incredible will happen. The power of the people will overcome the people in power.”
Netanyahu also criticized delegates who walked out during his speech and protesters outside the UN, accusing them of remaining silent over Tehran’s crackdown on dissent.
“Where were you when the Iranian tyrants butchered and maimed tens of thousands of unarmed Iranian civilians?” he said, also accusing his critics of failing to speak out over the persecution of Christians in Iran and elsewhere in the Middle East.
